Safe gun handling

• treat all guns as they are loaded
• always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction
• always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot at selected target
• always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use
• make sure the gun is unloaded and the chamber is empty every time you take the gun
• make sure the gun is not damaged and the barrel is clean before shooting
• wear appropriate eye and ear protection
• never use alcohol or drugs before or while shooting
• store guns on safe place, so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons (e.g. children)

• keep the gun pointed in safe direction
• remove the magazine
• pull the slide backwards
• eye-check through the ejection port that the chamber and the magazine well are empty
• release the slide and pull the trigger (safety shot)
