SLicence group A: For collecting purposes
- from 21 years of age
- owner is allowed to acquire and possess for collecting purposes a firearm of group A with granted exception, firearm of group B with granted permit or firearm of group C
- owner is allowed to acquire and possess for collecting purposes ammunition for firearms of group B or C to the limit of 3 pieces of a kind, caliber, mark and design or one smallest consumer pack
Licence group B: For sporting purposes
- from 18 years of age. Can be emitted to a member of sports shooting organization older than 15 years
- owner is allowed to acquire, possess or carry sport or hunting firearm of group B with granted permit or sport or hunting firearm of group C. He is allowed to carry this firearm
- reload ammunition for own purposes
- owner is allowed to acquire ammunition for firearms of group B or C
Licence group C: For hunting purposes
- from 18 years of age. Can be emitted to a student of a high school educating hunting older than 16 years
- owner is allowed to acquire, possess or carry sport or hunting firearm of group B with granted permit or sport or hunting firearm of group C. He is allowed to carry this firearm on shooting range only or in the place, defined in special legal regulation - §48 law 141/1961 about hunting
- reload ammunition for own purposes
- owner is allowed to acquire ammunition for firearms of group B or C
Licence group D: For job or career purposes
- from 21 years of age
- owner is allowed to carry or possess a firearm of group A, B or C during the service. Firearm owner (employer) must have valid firearm permit for this firearm
- to covertly carry up to 2 firearms
Licence group E: For securing life, health and property
- from 21 years of age
- owner is allowed to acquire, possess or carry a firearm of group A with granted exception, firearm of group B with granted permit or firearm of group C
- acquire ammunition for owned firearm
- to covertly carry up to 2 firearms
